With the end of the season fast approaching the racers of the MMA found themselves at the high speed Poplar Grove Raceway circuit in Killarney. With a new focus on preparation and time conservation the staff of the MMA with a large dose of assistance from volunteer time keeper Wayne DeKoninck gave us a full race day and still sent us home two hours ahead of the average weekend.
The 65cc PeeWee class has seen some great battles in the fall series with numerous different top 5 finishers. Josh Bell gets in on the action at Killarney with a 6-4 day for fifth overall.
Speaking of top fives, Justin Gevoga (53) put in one of his better rides of the season in the Junior GP class to take a top five with fifth overall.
The 50cc 4-6 class saw first time racer Tristan Mosset join the fray in Killarney.
Kelvin Dalke turned a 1-2 day into his first overall of the season in the 125 Beginner class. Michael Giesbrecht and Dustin Konzelman filled the remaining podium spots.
Austin Wiebe made his first appearance of the season in the 65cc B class. Wiebe went 7-1 on the day for second overall ahead of the 4-3 finishes of Brendan Kokorudz and behind overall winner Jacob Gnidziejko's 2-2 rides.
Stuart Brincheski continues to have a strong fall series while racing in three classes. Brincheski took home the overalls in the Youth B and 85cc 12-16 classes, while finishing second overall in the 125 Junior class.
This is the kind of tight racing fans of the MMA have seen all fall season between the Westside Honda of Adam Pfeiffer (3) and the gregscustom.com Suzuki of Nick Dunn (1). Dunn managed to grab 3 out of 4 Pro motos on this day and in the process took both overall.
After a brief stint working in a mine in B.C. Josh Penner returned to the MMA scene in Killarney. Penner arrived back in Manitoba late Saturday night, grabbed his bike and headed straight to Poplar Grove Raceway. Penner put in 3-6 rides for fourth overall in the 250 Pro class.

Strength and consistency have paid off for Gisele DeKoninck this fall. DeKoninck finds herself in a solid third for the fall Provincial Championships in the Ladies class with one round remaining.
Jake Klippenstein found Poplar Grove Raceway to his liking. Klippenstein posted 5-3 finishes for third overall and his first podium of the season in the 250 Junior class. Lindsay Masse and Randall Klassen took the first two spots on the box.
Hayden McKinny had a good day in the 85cc 7-11 class, just missing the podium with 4-5 moto scores. Rio Stoesz, Lane Louttit and Ty Shemko stood between McKinny and the top of the podium.
Ryan Millar put another 1-1 day in the books in the 125 Intermediate class. Millar will be in Montreal for his first SX racing experience under the Stoneridge KTM tent!

Jaxton Unrau put in a hard ride in both 50cc 7-8 motos and was rewarded with 2-2 finishes for second overall behind D.J. Burmey.
Brandon Farm Boys Raceway promoter Craig Hargreaves made an appearance in Killarney taking second overall in the Vet Master class.
Brittany Mann (262) is putting on a late charge in the Little Ladies class this fall. Mann took the overall in Killarney ahead of series points leader Rachel Regier (77).
Westside Honda's Eddie Anderson put in another top three ride in the Youth class in Killarney. Anderson's 5-3 finishes put him on the third step of the box behind Dunn and Millar.
Garrett Graboweski came out on top of the Supermini class with a -1 ride. Jeremy Breemersch and Lane Louttit chased him to the podium.
Gary Phillips is now winner 6 in 6 rounds in the 250 beginner class in the Fall Provincial Championships. Dustin Osborne and Calvin Brown round out the podium.
See you at the races…
